About Maricel Soriano
At age 6, made her acting debut with My Heart Belongs To Daddy (1971). Considers late comedian Dolphy as a father figure with whom she started working at age 9. Won Best Actress awards for the movie Nasaan ang Puso (1997) at the FAMAS Awards, the Metro Manila Film Festival and the Film Academy of the Philippines Awards.
Is called the Diamond Star of the Philippines entertainment industry.
