Biography
About Sharat Saxena
Spent most of his childhood in Bhopal although he was born in Satna in Madhya Pradesh. Completed Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication from Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Arrived in Mumbai during 1972 to begin his acting career and was initially given the role of a main villain's sidekick.
Had to sleep at railway stations and remain hungry for days during his initial days of struggle in Mumbai. Earned INR 250 in his first paycheck for a shelved movie starring Neetu Singh, which took 6 years to complete. Made his acting debut in the Bollywood film Benaam (1975).
Acted in several Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Punjabi films apart from mainstream Hindi films. Has been a part of more than 500 action sequences in his entire film career.
