Biography
About Chandrachur Singh
Taught music at the Doon School in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India before getting involved in acting. Made his big screen debut in Gulzar's Tere Mere Sapne (1996). Won the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award in 1996.
Was nominated for the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in Kya Kehna (2000). A water-skiing accident in 2000 led to him having to take a break from acting and even after he recovered it took years before he was seen on screen again, as the offers he was receiving weren't worthy of him.
