Dropped out of college when he was discovered by a modeling scout. Has appeared in more than 50 commercials. Took acting lessons at the Stella Adler Studio in New York.
Plays blues and jazz style saxophone and guitar. Has modeled for brands like Guess? and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Appeared in a 2002 production of The Lost Poems of Tennessee Williams at the Laurelgrove Theatre in Los Angeles. Was a recurring character on ABC's Nashville during season 1 before being promoted to a series regular for season 2.
