About Harry Enfield

Once worked as a milkman. Started writing with Charlie Higson and Paul Whitehouse at University while they all lived on the same Hackney estate. First came to public attention on Channel 4's Saturday Live in 1986 as a number of different characters created with Paul Whitehouse.
Was awarded the British Comedy Award for Best BBC1 Comedy Personality in 1998. Was once engaged to producer Alison Owen, and spent several years acting as stepfather to her children, including singer Lily Allen and actor Alfie Allen. Has appeared in commercials for Tetley Tea, Dime Bar, Hula Hoops, Burger King and Mercury Communications.
Made a cameo appearance as 'the tea lady' during Blur's performance at the Olympic Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert in London's Hyde Park in 2012. In 2016, played the role of Prince Charles in the Channel 4 sitcom The Windsors.
