Biography
About Aaron Jeffery
Moved from New Zealand to Australia at the age of 17; broke, he slept on the streets and lived in a factory. Worked as a bouncer in Sydney's Kings Cross before pursuing acting. First TV role was as Nick on children's series Ship to Shore (1993).
Took a break from acting and worked as a farmhand before playing farmer Alex Ryan, from 2001 to '08, in TV series McLeod's Daughters. Gained 15 kilograms to play Frank O'Rourke in the 2012 TV series Underbelly: Badness. Has taught drama at his alma mater NIDA.
