First appeared on stage at age 11 in a production of Oliver! Following high school, studied acting in Paris with legendary French director Ariane Mnouchkine at her Theatre du Soleil. Honed his craft in 2004 by appearing in various Shakespeare in the Park productions in New York City.
Broadway debut was in the 2009 revival of Joe Turner's Come and Gone, which was famously attended by President Obama and the First Lady. Landed a lead role on the NBC sitcom Friends With Benefits in 2011. Cast as the White House press secretary on the 2013 NBC comedy 1600 Penn.
