Biography
About Divya Bharti
Completed schooling only till 9th grade, when she was approached by filmmakers. Made her debut in the movie Vishwatma (1992). Married filmmaker Sajid Khan in secrecy, in the presence of her hairdresser Sandhya, Sandhya's husband, and a Kazi.
Converted to Islam after marriage and took the name Sanah. Had 14 films in hand without any release, which is the world record for debutants. Won the Filmfare Award for the most outstanding Popular Face of 1992.
Had fallen to death from the window of her fifth floor of her Tulsi apartment in Versova, Maharashtra, India. Caused an estimated loss of INR 25 to 30 crores by her death before completing her films. Was replaced in 14 films after her death.
