About Suchitra Pillai

Did a course in television studio production while in London. The French film Le Prix D'Une Femma (1993) was her first movie. Decided to settle in Mumbai in 1997; became established as a video jockey in the Indian television industry through her stint with Channel V.
Lent her voice to the character of Mai Linh in the Hindi dubbed version of the movie Live Free or Die Hard (2007). Was nominated for the 2011 Rolling Stone Jack Daniel Best Female Vocalist Award. Walked the ramp for NGO Beti, marking the launch of a new documentary called Main Tamanna, to stop girl child abuse in 2015.
