Biography
About Jo Enright
Before becoming a full-time comedian and actor, made ends meet at a variety of jobs, including working as a teacher, at a supermarket, as a janitor and in a coin laundry. Early career highlights include an Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in 1995 as part of the West Midland's Serious Comedy Squad, with John Butler and Andy Robinson; and Comedian of the Year honors at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 1996. Has appeared in commercials for a number of products in the U.K., including Chicken Tonight, Jaffa Cakes and Nescafé.
Cites Billy Connolly, Robin Williams and Victoria Wood as comedic influences.
