About Neil Maskell

Played for Long Jane Junior Football Club as a kid. Actress Cindy O'Callaghan recommended he go to the Anna Scher Theatre School in Islington, London, England to pursue acting which he did at the age of 11. Made his television debut on The Bill.
Was given the role in Nil By Mouth by Gary Oldman after he visited his theatre school. His Kill List role was specifically written for him by writer/director Ben Wheatley. In 2011 was nominated as Best Actor by the British Independent Film Awards for his role in the film Kill List.
