About Christopher Thornton

Growing up, used to accompany his father, an amateur opera singer, to rehearsals at a local church theater.
Studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory in Los Angeles, California.
Was spotted by an agent while performing with a student theater group.
A rock climbing accident at age 25 left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Found new representation after an acclaimed performance in the stage production of "Waiting for Godot" which he starred just six months after his accident.
In 2000, played Hamlet at the Lillian Theatre in Los Angeles and is considered to be the only actor to have played the character in a wheelchair.
