Went to Queen's College at Cambridge University and became President of their sketch group, The Footlights. While studying at Birkbeck College, London, he met Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners) and started a sketch comedy group called The House Of Windsor. Performed with Joe Thomas at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007 and 2008.
Took part in Chortle's National Student Comedy Awards between 2005-2008. Appeared in British sitcom The Inbetweeners that started in 2008. Was awarded the British Comedy Award for Best Male Newcomer 2008 for his part in The Inbetweeners.
Created and hosted in comedy panel show The King Is Dead in 2010. Co-created, co-wrote and co-starred in Channel 4 pilot Chickens with Joe Thomas. Starred in British sitcom Friday Night Dinner in 2011.
