Biography
About Trisha Krishnan
Won the Miss Salem and Miss Madras beauty pageant in 1999, and partook in the Miss India 2001 competition. Made her screen debut in the Tamil film Jodi (1999), although she was not credited in the film. Three-time winner of the Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Telugu, for Varsham (2004), Nuvvostananta Nenoddantana (2005), and Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule (2007).
Appeared in the highest grossing Tamil film of the year 2011, Mankatha. A prominent supporter of PETA and an ardent animal lover.
