Grew up on a cattle ranch in Canada. Began studying voice, piano, violin and dance at the age of 4. Her brother, Kalan, won the second season of Canadian Idol.
Won the Nashville North Star competition in 2011. Released her debut single "I Wish I'd Known" in 2012; she was later nominated for a Canadian Country Music Association Award for Rising Star. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2014.
