A leading action hero in Bollywood in the 1980s and 90s. Stopped working in Bollywood in the late 1990s and began a career in Bangladeshi cinema. As he doesn't speak Bengali, his voice needs to be dubbed frequently.
Returned to Bollywood in 2003, and returned to the public spotlight with his portrayal of an underworld gangster in D - Underworld Badshah (2005). Judge on various TV shows such as Zara Nachke Dikha, Laugh India Laugh and The Great India Laughter Challenge.
