Biography
About Smita Jayakar
Took up law studies after studying arts in college. Got her first break in 100, a Marathi series aired on Doordarshan. Her husband introduced her to her first spiritual guru Prabhuji in 1984.
Made her Bollywood debut with the movie Pardes (1997). Published her first book Before Tomorrow in 2014. Founded the New Leaf Trust, an organisation offering support to deprived and underprivileged students.
Has been associated with Oneness University (Chennai) for over 20 years. Holds a Grand Masters in Reiki and specialises in acupressure healing as well. Is an active participant of the Kundalini and Rebirthing & Breathwork workshops conducted by Life Research Academy.
Works as a holistic healer for the Metaphor Soul Shoppe.
