Biography
About Charlotte Spencer
Began ballet lessons at age three. Made her West End debut when she was 12 years old playing Jane Banks in a production of Mary Poppins in 2004. Took classes at the Brenda Taylor School of Performing Arts in Harlow and continued to help with drama and dance classes long after leaving the school.
First lead role in the West End was in 2013 when she played Christine Keeler in Stephen Ward, an Andrew Lloyd Webber production directed by Richard Eyre. When she's not working, she helps out at the primary school where her mum works and helps her grandmother at a charity shop. Her parents remortgaged their house to support her acting career.
Was nominated for a Best Actress Award for Stonemouth at BAFTA Scotland in 2015. Played the role of Esther Denham in Sanditon, a TV adaptation of the unfinished Jane Austen novel in 2019.
