About Genelle Williams

Had originally planned to be a physiotherapist, but decided to pursue a career in acting after a teacher encouraged her to get an agent following a performance in a high-school musical. Studied acting with Queer as Folk cast member Dean Armstrong. Was nominated for a 2007 Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Lead Role for the movie Doomstown.
Missed her first audition for the part of Leena on the Syfy series Warehouse 13 because she was getting her tonsils removed.
