About Laura Soltis

Grew up in an artistic family, her grandparents performed with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Circus, and her mother was a ballet teacher and choreographer.
Performed ballet with the Joliet Ballet Society, which her mother co-founded, and the Indianapolis Ballet Theatre.
Studied piano and voice.
At age 19, traveled nationally as a cast member of a production of Evita.
At age 21, decided to settle in New York City.
In 1999, decided to move to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, after working in the Los Angeles Company of Ragtime.
