Named after astronaut Neil Armstrong. Son and grandson of singers Nitin Mukesh and Mukesh. Appeared in Vijay (1988) and Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharnii(1989) as a child.
Made his full debut in Johnny Gaddaar (2007), earning a nomination for the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. Founded an NGO supporting women in need in 2009.
