Biography
About Sarita Joshi
Started her acting career as a child actress with Gujarati theatre acting. Worked with traditional theatre for over 6 years; bagged a lead role in a play at the age of 16. Met her to-be-husband while working at the Indian National Theatre.
First appeared on television in the 1980s in the series Titliyan, directed by Nadira Babbar. Won the Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar in 1988 in the Theatre - Acting (Language Theatre-wise) - Gujarati category.
