Started out competing in national beauty pageants, and was named Miss Mexico in 1997. Co-starred in country singer Billy Currington's music video "Must be Doin' Somethin' Right," which won the hottest video of the year award at the Country Music Television Music Awards in 2006. Made her film debut as the lead role in La Vida Blanca (2007), which she also co-produced.
For her role, she won the Feature Film Award that year as Best Actress.
