Is Serbian on her mother's side. Contacted an agent at the age of 9 to start acting. Landed the lead role in The Famous Five when she was 13.
Received 8 GCSEs graded A* or A and 3 A graded A-levels, but decided against going to drama school because she was already working. Accidentally flashed colleagues while on stage in One Man, Two Guvnors in 2011. Played Sharon in the play Breeders at the St James Theatre in 2014.
Was offered the role of Medusa in Atlantis without auditioning. Played the role of Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Young Vic in London in 2017.
