Rose to prominence playing Lisa Hunter in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. Embarked on a parallel career as a glamour model, posing for men's magazines such as FHM, Loaded and Arena. Took part in a charity event walking along a 228 kilometre stretch of the Great Wall of China to raise money for breast cancer awareness in April 2008.
Has taken part in multiple Great Manchester Runs, raising money for a variety of charities.
