Biography
About Shankar Nag
Began his career at the age of 16 by doing theatre work. Turned to film acting succumbing to his brother's insistence. Ondanondu Kaaladalli (1978) was his debut movie.
Won an acting award in 1979 at the International Film Festival New Delhi for his debut performance. Became legendary after directing the famous television show of yesteryears, Malgudi Days. Met an untimely death in an automobile accident.
