Grew up in a northern Canadian mining town and worked in the mines.
At age 20, moved west to chase his dream of becoming an actor.
Attended the Actor's Foundry.
In 2016, won Best Actor in a Canadian Film at the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Awards for his role in Hello Destroyer.
Trained in mixed martial arts and Muay Thai Kickboxing.
