Earned a PhD in Mathematics, in a way following in the footsteps of his father, a mathematics professor at University of Quebec in Outaouais.
Was trained in jujutsu by Canadian martial arts legend John Therien, and this was the start of his martial arts training.
Started out in the entertainment industry as a stuntman, and his first film was the 2011 epic fantasy Immortals in which he doubled Henry Cavill.
After a few film roles, he won his first lead role in the 2016 action sequel Kickboxer: Vengeance alongside martial arts action film legend Jean Claude Van Damme.
Has been the owner and chief instructor at NX Martial Arts & Fitness, in Ottawa, Ontario.
