Lived with his family in countries all around the world, including Saudi Arabia, as his father worked in the oil business.
Performed in a number of theater productions at his high school, such as A Christmas Carol and The Shadow Box.
Is a member of a band, also named Chester Rushing.
He and his father partnered with a local theater to provide sensory films for children with autism.
Does music therapy with the kids at Brilliant Futures, founded by his high school sweetheart Ava for children and young adults with autism and other developmental disorders, and teaches them to play instruments.
