Biography
About Lani Mercado
Started her acting career with the movie Boystown (1981), in which she played the role of a beauty queen. Started her political career by chairing the Cavite Clean and Green Project from 1998 to 2001. Was the Vice Chairwoman of the Solid Waste Management Board from 2007 to 2010.
Served as the Executive Director of Nutrition Council of Bacoor from 2009 to 2010. Has been a member of the Senate Spouses of the Philippines since 2004. Has been a part of the House of Representatives as a 2nd District of Cavite Congresswoman since 2010.
