About Joshua Sasse

Has Irish, Welsh, Scottish and Jewish heritage. His ancestors include William Ewart Berry, first Viscount Camrose, a prominent newspaper publisher; politician Seymour Berry, 2nd Viscount Camrose; and journalist Michael Berry, Baron Hartwell. When he was five years old, his father died on PIA Flight 268 when the plane crashed while approaching Kathmandu airport.
Spent his childhood in Nepal. Discovered his love of acting while boarding at Shrewsbury School. Began his acting career on stage playing Romeo in The Pierglass in 2006.
Played Sky in the West End production of Mamma Mia! in 2010. Works with The Umbrella Foundation, which helps protect children from poverty in Nepal.
