Grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States.
Was voted Most Likely to Succeed in her high school senior class.
Musician Pharrell Williams convinced her to move to Los Angeles to become a model after meeting each other through a mutual friend after a concert.
Worked as a banker before moving to Los Angeles in 2009.
