Starred in the Los Angeles-based For the Record musical-theater series, which reinterprets musical numbers from movies. Was a huge fan of Sex and the City even prior to being cast in The Carrie Diaries. After she auditioned for the role of Samantha Jones on The Carrie Diaries, she was told she didn't get the part twice before producers changed their minds and cast her.
