Broke into show business as a model and did a campaign for Versace. Big musical break came in 1999, when his single "Nothing Else" was included on the Music of the Heart soundtrack. Performed as the opening act for Cher's 1999 North American tour.
Competed on Mira Quien Baila, a Spanish version of Dancing With the Stars. Winner of Gone Country, a country-music-competition reality show on CMT, which led to his first country single, "The Way I Want You." Has also done some acting and performed the lead role in The Music of You, a short film directed by Lloyd D'Souza.
