Biography
About Vishal Dadlani
Started an electronic rock band called Pentagram in 1993; he is the lead singer. The band's first album We are not listening was released in 1996. Partnered with Shekhar Ravjiani for the first time to work on the movie Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi's (1999) title track.
Received the Filmfare R.D. Burman Award for New Music Talent, along with Shekhar, for Jhankar Beats (2003). Pentagram's first performance abroad was at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK in 2005. In 2011, collaborated with British singer Imogen Heap for the television show The Dewarists, along with Shekhar.
The duo also worked with R&B star Akon for the song "Chammak Challo" from the movie Ra.
One (2011). Has been a jury member for the television talent show Indian Idol Junior since its inception in 2013. Campaigned for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during their Delhi election rally in 2015.
