About Jeremy Jordan

Was recruited by his grandmother to do youth community theater at age 6. Increased his devotion to acting and singing after injuries stemming from a car accident in the seventh grade sidelined his participation in sports. Had the lead in three plays at Ithaca College.
Made his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages in 2009. Simultaneously worked on two musicals in 2011: Broadway rehearsals for Bonnie & Clyde and pre-Broadway performances of Newsies at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. He went on to originate the lead roles in the Broadway productions of both.
Got his first regular role on a TV series by joining the cast of Smash in 2013.
