Peter Strauss stars as a cowboy out to win his daughters' affection after his former wife is murdered and the girls are sent---against their will---to live with him. "Now that they're here you're gonna have to start being their father again," a friendly court-appointed counselor (Mary McDonnell) tells him. That's no easy task, especially since he wants to return to the rodeo circuit. And there's another complication: his former wife's sister (Susan Hogan) is determined to get custody.
