Alma sufre de trastorno bipolar y su esposo Fernando, que trabaja de cajero en un supermercado, apenas la soporta y hasta siente vergüenza de ella que, despechada, lo echa de la casa que comparten y enseguida conoce a Gaspar, que la quiere conquistar. Enamorado perdidamente, le propone irse con él a Buenos Aires. Así, en la gran ciudad, ambos viven aventuras inimaginables y divertidas. Por su parte, Fernando se da cuenta que todavía ama a Alma y decide ir a buscarla.
