In this Romantic drama New York based Chef Carl Diesta returns home after being away for seventeen years to marry his fiancé supermodel Chrissy Duran. However since Crissy is held up in Europe, Carl has to meet her family all by himself and instantly impresses everyone except Chrissy's father. He also meets Chrissy's sister Lena and falls in love with her.

Began his career as a child actor in the film May Isang Tsuper ng Taksi (1975). Dropped out of college to concentrate on his acting career. Played his first lead role in the movie Bagets (1984). Announced his candidature for the Congressional seat in the fourth district of Camarines Sur in 2012, but could not run for the election due to lack of residency status. After being listed as registered voters in San Jose, Camarines Sur, he ran for a congressional seat in the Partido area, but lost to his opponent by more than 2,500 votes.

Won the Gawad Urian Best Supporting Actor award for Kakabakaba ka ba? (1980), his first acting award.
