Quit the Australian soap opera Neighbours in 2008, after three years in her role of Rachel Kinski, to concentrate on completing high school. Won the 2010 Inside Film Award for Best Actress for her feature-film debut in Tomorrow, When the War Began. In 2010, was living in the same apartment block in Los Angeles as former Neighbours castmates Dichen Lachman and Margot Robbie. Called for tougher penalties for bullies after she was attacked in 2012 by three girls while with her sister in Melbourne.
