At the age of 12, began his career in music as the lead singer of the band Boom Boom Pop. In 2008, made his theater debut in the stage musical Miami Libre at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. In 2009, released his debut solo album Buscame. Was named in Forbes' list of 30 Under 30 in 2012. Has performed over 200 concerts in several countries, including the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama and Spain. In 2015, became the first Latino in history to press the button that activates the ball to drop in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Is a spokesperson for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
