Patrick McGoohan (Actor) .. The Prisoner (Number 6)
Born: January 13, 2009
Died: January 13, 2009
Birthplace: Astoria, Queens, New York City, New York, United States
Trivia: An American-born actor reared in Ireland and England, McGoohan made a memorable impression on the American and English viewing audiences by playing essentially the same role in three different television series. He began his performing career as a teen-ager, eventually played Henry V for the Old Vic company in London, and made mostly unremarkable films in the '50s. His movies include the delightful Disney film The Three Lives of Thomasina (1964). Success came in 1961, when McGoohan played government agent John Drake in Danger Man, a role he continued on Secret Agent (1965-66). He created, produced and often wrote episodes of the nightmarish, surrealistic cult series The Prisoner (1968-69). This show featured a character assumed to be the same John Drake (although he was known as Number 6 and his real name was never mentioned), who had been kidnapped and taken to a strange community. McGoohan later starred in the TV series Rafferty (1977) and directed the film Catch My Soul (1974). He won an Emmy Award in 1975 for his guest appearance on Columbo with Peter Falk.
Angelo Muscat (Actor) .. The Butler
Born: September 24, 1930
Died: October 10, 1977
Birthplace: Malta
Derren Nesbitt (Actor) .. Number 2
Born: January 01, 1932
Trivia: British actor Derren Nesbitt came to films in the late '50s, a time when characters exhibiting a crude or cruel streak were in vogue in English movies. Nesbett had an unsavory look about him, which became useful whenever producers needed a sadistic heavy or petty thief. Among Nesbitt's films were Room at the Top (1958), Victim (1961), The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders (1965), The Naked Runner (1967) (in which he and most of the supporting cast were nastily killed off in the first two reels) and Burke and Hare (1971). Nesbett's marriage to film star Anne Aubrey made headlines thanks to an acrimonious breakup in 1973; some observers have speculated that his career never fully recovered from the adverse publicity. Whatever the case, Derren Nesbett was back in 1974, directing, writing and starring in The Amorous Milkman.

Mark Burns (Actor) .. Number Two's Assistant
Born: January 01, 1937
Trivia: British actor Mark Burns was cast in leading roles in several major films of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Seldom called upon to be anything more than devilishly handsome in period costumes, Burns was seen in Charge of the Light Brigade (1967), Death in Venice (1971), Juggernaut (1974) and The Wicked Lady (1983). If nothing else, Mark Burns deserves commendation for stamina above and beyond the call of duty. Burns managed to survive no fewer than two films based on novels by Jackie Collins and starring Jackie's sister Joan Collins: The Stud (1978) and The Bitch (1979).
