Julianne Hough (Actor) .. Ariel
Born: July 20, 1988
Birthplace: Orem, Utah, United States
Trivia: The lithe and fair-haired dancer Julianne Hough achieved on-stage (and on-camera) recognition during the 2006-2007 TV season, as the female champion of the ABC reality program Dancing With the Stars. Her partner that season was speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno; Hough returned to the show the following season, partnered up with Brazilian racecar driver Helio Castroneves, and again won the competition. Eventually she spread her wings, leaving the comfortable nest of Dancing With the Stars in order to appear in movies like Burlesque, Footloose, and the hair-metal jukebox musical Rock of Ages.
Kenny Wormald (Actor) .. Ren
Birthplace: Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Trivia: At age 6, took professional dance lessons. A few years later was part of an ensemble that performed on the White House lawn at an Easter egg hunt. Competed in the 2002 World Dance Championships and took home a gold medal in tap. Was a member of his high school's baseball and football teams. Relocated to Los Angeles, CA, in 2002. Won the first TV role that he auditioned for, a non-speaking dance part on ABC's Drew Carey Show. Made movie debut, as a dancer, in the 2006 comedy Clerks II. Appeared on the short-run MTV reality dance program Dancelife in 2007; was one of six dancers featured in the show. Made TV acting debut in the Oxygen 2008 made-for-cable movie Center Stage: Turn It Up. First major film role was in the 2011 remake of the 1984 classic Footloose.
Dennis Quaid (Actor) .. Reverend Moore
Born: April 09, 1954
Birthplace: Houston, Texas, United States
Trivia: Handsome, well-built and able to communicate a rangy sort of charm in front of the camera, Dennis Quaid possesses many star qualities. Despite attaining heartthrob status for his work in such films as The Big Easy, however, Quaid has had a difficult time maintaining this status, thanks in part to work in a number of films that have failed to fully exploit his talent. The son of an electrician and younger brother of actor Randy Quaid, Dennis was born in Houston, Texas on April 9, 1954. He began acting in high school, and in college he enrolled in a drama program. He dropped out at the age of 20 to follow his brother to Hollywood and spent the next year mired in rejection and relative unemployment. He got his first break in 1977 when he was cast in minor roles in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden and 9/30/55, but it was not until 1979, when he starred in the seminal coming-of-age drama Breaking Away, that Quaid gained attention. It was his role as astronaut Gordo Cooper in The Right Stuff four years later that finally gave the actor his Hollywood breakthrough. He subsequently went on to appear in a number of films of widely varying quality. 1987 proved to be a particularly good year for Quaid, as he did acclaimed work in The Big Easy and Suspect. That same year, he also starred in the comedy Innerspace; that experience proved to be an auspicious one, as it provided him with an introduction to co-star Meg Ryan, whom he would marry in 1991. The two also starred together in the 1988 mystery D.O.A. and in the crime drama Flesh and Bone in 1993. Other notable roles for Quaid included that of wild man Jerry Lee Lewis in Great Balls of Fire (1989), a 1930s union organizer in Come See the Paradise (1990), and Meryl Streep's love interest in Postcards From the Edge (1990). During a large part of the '90s, Quaid starred in a string of disappointing films, including the disastrous Wyatt Earp (1994) and the failed medieval fantasy Dragonheart (1996). He made something of a comeback in 1998, appearing in the ensemble film Playing By Heart and the successful remake of The Parent Trap, in which he starred opposite Natasha Richardson. The following year, he had a starring role as a Miami football team's legendary quarterback in Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday, and then starred in the supernatural thriller Frequency (2000) as a dead man who is able to communicate with his son (James Caviezel) over ham radio. Though both films proved moderately successful, it was two-years-later that Quaid would truly return to the good graces of critics with his striking turn in director Todd Haynes' Far From Heaven. As a closeted homosexual husband living a typical suburban dream in 1950s era Connecticut, Quaid's sensitive performance proved integral to convincingly recreating the tone of a Douglas Sirk era melodrama. Quaid portrayed a middle-aged man whose life is turned upside-down by the arrival of a young upstart who takes over his job in 2004's comedy drama Good Company, and appeared in The Alamo and Flight of the Phoenix the same year. Despite Quaid's involvement in several commercial and critical failures throughout the 2000s (The Day After Tomorrow, American Dreamz, Cold Creek Manor), the actor shone as widower Lawrence Wetherhold in Smart People (2008), and again as the stern Reverend Shaw Moore in 2011's Footloose reboot. Quaid appeared in the ensemble film What To Expect When You're Expecting, had a supporting role in the 2012 romcom Playing for Keeps and was in the anthology film Movie 43 (2013).
Andie MacDowell (Actor) .. Vi Moore
Born: April 21, 1958
Birthplace: Gaffney, South Carolina
Trivia: The product of a profoundly unhappy home life, Andie MacDowell was compelled to make her own way from an early age. The Gaffney, SC, native spent her teenage years working a number of minimum-wage jobs before dropping out of Winthrop College when she was a sophomore in order to become an Elite model. Her innocent, well-scrubbed good looks were not only suited to her job as a cosmetics model, but, in 1984, they won her the role of Jane Porter in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. Unable to overcome her natural Carolina cadence, MacDowell's lines were dubbed by Glenn Close in the film -- the first and last time that audiences were denied the actress' warm, relaxing vocal shadings. Joining the Brat Pack brigade with St. Elmo's Fire (1985), MacDowell just as quickly broke away from it with her riveting performance in sex, lies and videotape (1989); her role as a dissatisfied housewife earned her a number of accolades, and helped to establish her as a "serious" actress.MacDowell's likability enabled her to weather such disasters as Hudson Hawk (1991) and Bad Girls (1994), and allowed her to shine in a number of other films, including Groundhog Day (1993), Short Cuts (1993), and the hit romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994). Although she starred in a series of disappointing films during the late '90s, she remained highly visible, popping up in such movies as Unstrung Heroes (1995), The Muse (1999), and Town and Country (2000). She earned good reviews playing a middle-age woman infatuated with a younger man in Crush, but the film was poorly distributed and little seen. She appeared in a string of direct-to-video efforts including the supernatural thriller The Last Sign opposite Tim Roth. She returned to the multiplexes after landing a major part in the Queen Latifah film Beauty Shop in 2005. The next year she lent her distinct vocal qualities to the 2006 animated film Barnyard, twenty years after having her voice dubbed out of her film debut. In 2010 MacDowell surpised her fans with a villainous turn in the tense low-budget thriller As Good As Dead, which was quickly followed by an appearance as Vi Moore (a role originally played by Diane Wiest) in Craig Brewer's remake of Footloose.
Miles Teller (Actor) .. Willard
Born: February 20, 1987
Birthplace: Downington, Pennsylvania, United States
Trivia: Moved around frequently as a child due to his father's career in nuclear power; lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. Planned on being a sports broadcaster after high school. Made his big-screen debut in Rabbit Hole (2010), nabbing the role before he had graduated from college. Played the part of Willard Hewitt in his high-school production of Footloose; went on to portray the same character in the 2011 film remake.
Ray McKinnon (Actor) .. Wes Warnicker
Born: November 15, 1957
Birthplace: Adel, Georgia, United States
Trivia: Began acting in Atlanta in the early 1980s. Made film debut (as a state trooper) in 1989's Driving Miss Daisy; other film credits include Apollo 13, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Blind Side. Shared the 2001 live-action short Oscar for The Accountant with his late wife, Lisa Blount, the comedy's executive producer; and his costar and producing partner, Walton Goggins. McKinnon also wrote and directed. Was a regular on the first season of HBO's Deadwood (2004). His 2004 indie drama Chrystal (starring Blount and Billy Bob Thornton) was nominated for a Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize. Was nominated for a 2009 Independent Spirit supporting-actor award for That Evening Sun. (He also produced the drama, along with Goggins.)
Patrick Flueger (Actor) .. Chuck
Born: December 10, 1983
Birthplace: Red Wing, Minnesota, United States
Trivia: Broke into feature films with 2001's The Princess Diaries. Was cast in 2005's The World's Fastest Indian while starring in The 4400. Plays guitar, writes music and was the lead singer of a band called Sleeper 7. Was screen tested for the role of Steve Rogers/Captain America in 2010, which was eventually given to Chris Evans.
Kim Dickens (Actor) .. Lulu Warnicker
Born: June 18, 1964
Birthplace: Huntsville, Alabama, United States
Trivia: Though born far from the city, deep in the Heart of Dixie, actress Kim Dickens got an ambitious start to her career in film and television as a student at Vanderbilt University, where she made her stage debut in a student production of David Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago.Born in Huntsville, AL, Dickens spent much of her active high school career involved with such activities as varsity softball and tennis, the National Honor Society, and receiving such honors as Senior Class Favorite before graduating in 1983. Later earning her B.A. in communication from Vanderbilt University, Dickens also studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and is a member of the Open Stage theater company.Making her feature debut in 1995, with the bumbling crime comedy Palookaville, Dickens spent the next few years acting in such made-for-television movies as Crimes of Passion: Voice From the Grave (1996), before returning to the big screen with Palookaville cohort Vincent Gallo, in Kiefer Sutherland's Truth or Consequences, NM and the 1998 update of Charles Dickens' classic Great Expectations. Bringing in the new millennium with roles in such thrillers as The Hollow Man and The Gift, Dickens took a turn back to the small screen in 2001, for a role in the ambitious but short-lived series Big Apple. The resilient actress bounced back to the big screen again, later that year, with Last Call. Over the coming years, Dickens would appear in a number of films, like House of Sand and Fog, Thank You for Smoking, and Red, as well as TV series like Deadwood, Lost, Friday Night Lights, and Treme.

Craig Brewer (Actor) .. Kegger Dancer
Born: December 06, 1971
Trivia: After a stint at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, writer and director Craig Brewer moved back to Memphis, where he'd grown up. When his father passed away a short time later, the young filmmaker dealt with his grief by using his inheritance to finance his first feature film, The Poor and the Hungry, about a car thief who falls in love with one of his victims. He entered the project into competition at a number of film festivals in 2000, and was eventually purchased by the Independent Film Channel. For his next movie, Brewer perfected a script inspired by his own struggle to succeed in his chosen art form. He called it Hustle & Flow, and it piqued the interest of producer John Singleton, who signed on to produce the film. Actor Terrence Howard played the lead role of Djay, a hustler with a gift for words and music that he's never taken further than the street corner. After hearing that a platinum-selling rapper will be visiting town, Djay decides to invest in the hope of leaving the street life, despite the pervasive threat of disappointment that has kept him, and everyone else who shares his bleak, urban life, from trying. The tale of hope and redemption was praised by critics and garnered several awards and nominations, including an Oscar in the category of Best Original Song for the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia, some of whom had led Brewer through the ghetto streets of Memphis to help him research for the film. For his next project, Brewer would direct Christina Ricci, Samuel L. Jackson, S. Epatha Merkerson, and Justin Timberlake for another film he'd penned called Black Snake Moan, the story of a nymphomaniac looking to be "cured" of her problem with the help of an older bluesman.

Dylan Sellers (Actor)
Trivia: After a single credit on the wonderful, overlooked Disney telemovie You Ruined My Life (1987), starring Paul Reiser and Soleil Moon Frye, producer Dylan Sellers spent the 1990s establishing himself as a production force, and the 2000s building up a fat resumé of glossy and lucrative Hollywood blockbusters. Sellers demonstrated no genre predilection overall, veering fluidly and swiftly from sports dramas to slasher horror to geriatric comedy, and grossing healthy returns in many arenas. His first major effort was the Wesley Snipes action vehicle Passenger 57, a nail-biter about a hijacking that found a substantial audience when it premiered in the holiday season of 1992. Despite fascinating content, the producer's next venture -- the enigmatic Paul Auster adaptation The Music of Chance (1993) -- clocked in as an unmitigated disaster, grossing only a few hundred thousand dollars nationally in an extremely limited release and orienting Sellers toward more commercial material. He received a production credit on the ambitious Ron Howard social drama The Paper (1994) and the Walter Matthau/Jack Lemmon vehicle Out to Sea (1997), both of which performed admirably. Sellers gravitated toward safer and more conventional material in the 2000s, and (perhaps as a result) consistently scored as a box-office topper. His releases included the Gene Hackman/Keanu Reeves inspirational sports drama The Replacements (2000), the serial killer-themed horror movie Valentine (2001) and -- most profitably -- the multi-installment Agent Cody Banks series, about a pint-sized super-spy played by Frankie Muniz.
