A bit player from the 1930s and '40s who appeared uncredited in the majority of the films he was in, actor/dancer John R. Albright was a member of the Screen Actors Guild from 1935 and a former member of the Screen Extras Guild. With credited appearances including roles in King of Gamblers and I, Jane Doe (both 1948), Albright continued acting until the early '50s. On October 24, 2001, Albright died of complications due to pneumonia in Los Angeles, CA. He was 88.
