Trivia: Was the first baby to be born in 1981 in Dublin, Ireland at one minute past midnight. Performed in Twelfth Night, Ulysses and The Crucible while a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Has obtained a British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat (BASSC) certificate, which would help him land his role as Robin Hood in a 2006 BBC production. Won a Stars on the Horizon Award at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival Chairman's Award Gala in 2013. Has a tattoo of the lyrics "Now Here We Are" from the Coldplay song "Columbia" on his right arm.

Trivia: Studied dance as a child. Fibbed she could ride horses in order to land her breakout role as Marian on Robin Hood. Trains in wing chun, the martial-arts discipline created by Bruce Lee. Had not watched True Blood before being cast in the show.

Supporter of British football team, Fulham Football Club. His documentary film, Unlawful Killing, about the death of Princess Diana, was banned from being seen in Britain. In 2000, appeared in two Harold Pinter plays at the Almeida Theatre, playing roles in Celebration and The Room.
