Bert Remsen (Actor) .. Mr. John Eareckson
Born: February 25, 1925
Died: April 22, 1999
Trivia: Though he made his first film appearance in 1959's Pork Chop Hill, American character actor Bert Remsen did not achieve prominence until the 1980s. On TV, Remsen was seen as Mario the Chef in It's a Living (1980-81) and as wildcat oil man Harrison "Dandy" Dandridge during the 1987-88 season of Dallas. In films, he was featured in several Robert Altman productions, and also essayed the title character in Daddy's Dyin'...Who's Got the Will? (1990). In addition, he occasionally worked as a Hollywood casting director. Bert Remsen's most recent credit (as of 1996) was as one of the "expert witnesses" during the Bruno Richard Hauptmann trial in the made-for-cable Crime of the Century.
Katherine De Hetre (Actor) .. Jay Eareckson
Born: September 18, 1946
Cooper Huckabee (Actor) .. Dick Filbert
Born: May 08, 1951
Trivia: Rustic character actor Cooper Huckabee has been active in films since the early 1970s. Huckabee's first major film role was high-school jock Hardin Tough in the enjoyably sleazy Pom Pom Girls (1976). He went on to portray any number of sheriffs, security guards and small-town political hacks. Cooper Huckabee's film credits include Foul Play (1978), Cohen and Tate (1989), Gettysburg (1993, as Henry T. Harrison) and Bad Girls (1994).

Trivia: Actor Ernie Hudson received his training at Wayne State, Yale School of Drama and the University of Minnesota. Following a hitch with the Marines, Hudson appeared in such stage productions as The Great White Hope, The Cage and Daddy Goodness. He made his earlier film appearance in 1976's Leadbelly. Most of us know Hudson best as Winston Zeddmore in the two Ghostbusters films, a role he repeated in Ray Parker Jr.'s "Ghostbusters" music video. His best--and most controversial--screen assignment was the The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992); Hudson played retarded handyman Solomon, virtually the only character in the film who doesn't buy into the "perfect" facade of homicidal baby-sitter Rebecca DeMornay. On TV, Ernie Hudson has been seen as Smythe in Highcliffe Manor (1977), undercover officer "Night Train" Lane in The Last Precinct (1986), and kleptomaniac cop Toby Baker in Broken Badges (1990). He had a memorable supporting part in the 1992 thriller The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, and appeared in Heart and Souls as well as the comedy Airheads. In 1994 he was cast in a prominent role in the action film The Crow, and followed that up in 1995 with part in Congo. In 1997 he started work on the HBO drama Oz, playing the warden of the meanest, cruelest inmates imaginable for six seasons. He co-starred with Sandra Bullock in the 2000 comedy Miss Congeniality. He continued to work steadily in projects as diverse as Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror, The Ron Clark Story, and 2010's Smokin' Aces 2: Assassin's Ball.
Barbara Mallory (Actor)
Born: March 19, 1948
Jane Ralston (Actor) .. B.J.
Betsy Jones-Moreland (Actor) .. Mrs. Barber
Born: April 01, 1930
Died: May 01, 2006
Birthplace: Brooklyn, New York
Trivia: Betsy Jones-Moreland is best remembered today as a statuesque actress and leading lady of the late 1950s and early 1960s, especially in the films of Roger Corman. Yet she was always a somewhat reluctant actress, even as she pursued a career in the field. Born Mary Elizabeth Jones in Brooklyn, New York, in 1930, she seems never to have considered a career in entertainment, or any particularly "public" profession, while growing up. She was an office worker and secretary, her sole contact with the entertainment business being the fact that the company she worked for owned the rights to several children's shows of the 1950s. She began taking acting lessons as a way of overcoming her basic shyness, and that led her to getting work as a showgirl, which resulted in her earning a role in a touring company production of The Solid Gold Cadillac. She ended up in Hollywood, starting with bit roles in major releases, such as The Brothers Rico and The Garment Jungle. She soon became part of Roger Corman's stock company, starting with The Saga of the Viking Women And Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent (1957) and culminating with the title role in The Last Woman on Earth (1960) and the female lead in Creature From the Haunted Sea (1961). In between these quickie productions and some small-screen work, Jones-Moreland also appeared in one notable Western: André de Toth's Day of the Outlaw (1959). Her television appearances included episodes of Perry Mason, McHale's Navy, Have Gun, Will Travel, My Favorite Martian, and Ironside. Her most memorable television appearance was in the Outer Limits episode "The Mutant", in which she appeared as part of a space expedition that's endangered when one of their number encounters deadly radiation. Corman later used her in his first big-budget movie, The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (1967), and she followed this up with small roles in theatrical films such as The Hindenburg and Gable and Lombard. She closed out her career as a trial judge in a handful of episodes of the 1990s revival of Perry Mason.
