Trivia: Born April 8th, 1980, Oregon native Katee Sackhoff made her first onscreen appearance with a small role in the 1998 Lifetime original movie Fifteen and Pregnant when she was 18. She continued to build up her resumé with minor appearances like a role in the USA film Hefner: Unauthorized and a number of appearances on MTV's Undressed, but it was a supporting role on the TV series The Education of Max Bickford that proved to be her big break. Playing daughter to veteran actor Richard Dreyfuss' character provided both valuable tutelage and incredible exposure for the young actress, setting her up for her next project.Accepting the role of Lt. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace in the 2003 miniseries Battlestar Galactica became one of the best moves of Sackhoff's career. The miniseries was so successful, it was sold as a standard TV show and began airing in 2004, with Sackhoff in the same leading role. Trivia: Mixed-blood and Filipino-born, Phillips was raised in Arlington, Texas, where he began acting at age 10. After receiving his college degree in theater, he studied film technique with Adam Roarke at the Film Actor's Lab in Dallas. Between 1983 and 1986 he worked at the Lab as an assistant director and instructor. Concurrently, he performed in several plays in Dallas and Fort Worth, including Doctor Faustus and Hamlet. From 1983-87 Phillips appeared in several small, independent, Texas-made films, beginning with Angel Alley; one of these, Trespasses (1987), he co-wrote, while he associate-produced another, Dakota (1988). His big break came when director Luis Valdez was casting the Hollywood biopic La Bamba (1987), which focused on early rock 'n' roller Ritchie Valens. Someone suggested Phillips for the role of Valens' brother, but after he auditioned he was selected by Valdez to play the lead. The film was surprisingly successful and Philips married its assistant director, Julie Cypher. With his performance as a barrio boy in Stand and Deliver (1988) he further established himself as a leading Hispanic star and representative of the Hispanic community. After playing an American Indian in the youth Western Young Guns (1988), he found himself fascinated with Indian culture and became a Cherokee blood brother. He wrote one of his films, Ambition (1991).

Trivia: Rafael Sbarge has been acting since his late teens. After studying at the Hagen-Bergdorf studio and making his off-Broadway debut in 1981, Sbarge was fortunate enough to be seen in one of the most popular teen-oriented flicks of the 1980s, Risky Business. He then went on to show up in such roles as Sherman in My Science Project (1985) and Schmoozler in Vision Quest (1985). In the decades to come, Sbarge would find success in numerous projects like Message in a Bottle and Pearl Harbor and on shows like The Guardian, 24, Prison Breakm, and Once Upon a Time.

Trivia: HBO enthusiasts will invariably remember character actor Wallace Langham for his winning multi-season portrayal of Phil, the conceited head writer of Larry Sanders' late-night talk show, on the Garry Shandling-headlined sitcom The Larry Sanders Show. Langham (who first received billing in projects as Wally Ward) grew up in Los Angeles; his parents divorced at an early age and his mother, Sunni, designed costumes for the musical variety series Donny and Marie. Trivia: Character actor Jon Tenney has appeared on stage and in feature films, but he may be best known for his television work, notably for playing Patrol Sergeant Francis X. Donovan on Steven Bochco's short-lived police drama Brooklyn South. His film work includes Twilight of the Golds (1997), Fools Rush In (1997), and With Friends Like These... (1998). Tenney's interest in acting stems from early childhood and it developed further while he attended Vassar College, where he majored in drama and philosophy. Afterwards, he was accepted to Juilliard, where he was a standout student. He made his professional debut starring in a touring production of The Real Thing, directed by Mike Nichols. This led to his working steadily on and off Broadway, as well as in regional theater. His television credits include Equal Justice and Crime and Punishment. His made-for-television movie credits include Alone in the Neon Jungle (1987). Since 1994, Tenney has been married to popular television actress Teri Hatcher. He appeared in Kenneth Lonnergan's first film, You Can Count on Me, and Albert Brooks cast him in Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World. In 2005 he was cast in the hit cable series The Closer as Agent Fritz Howard, and he would stay with that show for the next few years. He continued to work on the big screen in projects such as The Stepfather, Rabbit Hole, and Green Lantern.
