At the age of 14, he started his career in the culinary industry and worked at a bakery after school.Worked as sous chef along with renowned chef Chris Schlesinger in 1992.In 1993, he was appointed Executive Chef at the East Coast Grill in Cambridge, Massachusetts.Travelled the west coast in his motorcycle in 1995.Opened his first restaurant, Tremont 647, along with his friend Chris Hart in 1996.In 2017, joined forces among other chefs for the fundraiser Operation Barbecue Relief, aimed to help the affected communities with Hurricane Harvey and Irma.Is a board member of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association.Is an active contributor to Share Our Strength, a hunger-relief organization.
