Nicholas Campbell (Actor) .. Dominic Da Vinci
Born: March 24, 1952
Birthplace: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Trivia: An able "action player," Canadian actor Nicholas Campbell was all action and no lines in his bit roles in A Bridge too Far (1975), The Eagle Has Landed (1976) and The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Campbell was third-billed as Sniffer in the 1985 Tatum O'Neal/Irene Cara vehicle A Certain Fury, and was "adult relief" in the bizarre 1987 street-gang musical Knights of the City. Campbell's series TV gigs include the leading roles of investigative reporter Nick Fox on The Insiders (1986) and private eye Mike Devitt on the Canadian-filmed Diamonds (1987). In 1983 Campbell starred as the enigmatic, expository title character on the HBO anthology series The Hitchhiker.
Alex Diakun (Actor) .. Chick Savoy
Born: February 08, 1946
Kim Hawthorne (Actor) .. Det. Rose Williams
Suleka Mathew (Actor) .. Dr. Sunny Raman
Birthplace: Kerala, India
Trivia: Though seemingly comfortable as an ingenue, ravishing Indian-born Canadian actress Suleka Mathew demonstrated her versatility to the world with her convincing comedic portrayal of Nuru, a dowdy woman much older than herself (and the mother of a character played by Jimi Mistry, an actor close to her own age), in Ian Iqbal Rashid's clever, gay-themed romantic comedy Touch of Pink (2003). This achievement elevated Mathew above the string of bit parts (as reporters, doctors, and other everyday types) that she had achieved up through that time, and paved the way for steady work on the prime-time series Men in Trees. In that Sex and the City-style comedy drama, Mathew plays Sara, a genial prostitute and single mother in an Alaskan town who dreams of escaping from the shadow of servicing clients. In 2009 Mathew joined the cast of TNT's Hawthorne as nurse Bobby Jackson, with roles in the made-for-TV movie Good Mornign, Killer, and the hit series NCIS following in quick succession.
Gerard Plunkett (Actor) .. Bob Kelly
Sarah-Jane Redmond (Actor) .. Sgt. Sheila Kurtz
Donnelly Rhodes (Actor) .. Det. Leo Shannon
Born: December 04, 1937
Died: January 08, 2018
Birthplace: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Trivia: Canadian character actor Donnelly Rhodes made his first American film appearance in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1970). Rhodes gained a daytime-drama following as Phillip Chancellor on The Young and the Restless. In TV's nighttime hours, he was seen as Dutch in the serial spoof Soap (1977-81), as Charlie in Report to Murphy (1982) and as the father of twins Jean and Liz Sagal in Double Trouble (1984). From 1985 to 1992, Donnelly Rhodes starred as Grant "Doc" Roberts in Danger Bay, a Canadian-based adventure series which ran in the U.S. on the Disney Channel cable service.
Sarah Strange (Actor) .. Helen
Born: June 09, 1974
Birthplace: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Trivia: A brave actress with a memorable name, Sarah Strange grew up in Canada, the child of two screenwriters, and began her professional acting career as soon as she left high school. She became well known for playing the role of Helen on the Canadian drama Da Vinci's Inquest, before becoming more acquainted with American audiences when she joined the cast of the one-hour dramedy Men in Trees, playing the wife of bartender/millionaire Ben Tomasson (Abraham Benrubi).
Venus Terzo (Actor) .. Angela Kosmo
Born: October 17, 1967
Birthplace: Montreal
Ian Tracey (Actor) .. Det. Mick Leary
Born: June 26, 1964
Birthplace: Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
Trivia: After a series of small child-actor roles starting at age 11, his big break came at age 15 when he landed his starring turn in the 1979 Canadian television series, Huckleberry Finn and His Friends. Decided to take a break from acting after high school and credits a stint setting up lights on film sets for teaching him the most about the business. Expanded his career by directing two episodes of the 2001 series Da Vinci's Inquest, which led to other directing gigs.
Steve E. Miller (Actor) .. Zack
Gwynyth Walsh (Actor) .. Patricia Da Vinci
