                          Trivia:
Has been acting since she was a teenager, and after college was a member of Sydney-based Bell Shakespeare and the Melbourne Theatre Company in addition to working in Australian TV, but moved to Canada in the late 1990s to pursue greener pastures. Mother worked in real estate in Australia, and, due to the fickle nature of show business, also obtained her real-estate license there in the mid-2000s. Accolades include Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for Durham County at the 23rd Gemini Awards, which recognize achievements in Canadian TV, in 2008. Made her Canadian stage debut in 2012 in a revival of Andrew Bovell's Speaking in Tongues (1996), which she had seen in its original incarnation in Australia after she got out of acting school.
